I was at the library yesterday just working away when I received this text from Caitlin Michelle Moss: "...in other news, I saw a gopher tumble down a large hill & it was hilarious!!!"
Now, you first have to understand this about this friend of mine: she uses "in other news" like it's going out of style (was it ever in style for "normal," non-news broadcaster people?). And I love that. Sometimes I use it but people don't get it.
So, I laughed out loud (LOLed, if you will) in the library. I'm not sure if you know this, but libraries are supposed to be quiet. I know...it's a hard lesson to learn. Even the Fonz struggled with it, I do believe.
I felt the need to respond to this great mental image. But not only to Caitlin Michelle Moss...to the world (aka, all of my 16 followers on Twitter).
My response (in the form of a tweet, of course): "I'm so jealous.@cait_moss saw a tumbling gopher. They never tumble down hills when I'm around.Dear Jesus, please send me a tumbling gopher."
So, friends, please pray for all of us reading this today. Pray that we may be blessed with the sight of a tumbling gopher.
