fill-in-the-blank friday

First off, let me just say that I am aware that it's Saturday (almost Sunday).  I will admit to often being confused as to the day of the week (don't even get me started with the actual date), especially when I'm not in school, but that is not the case this time.  I've been babysitting all weekend (adorable pics coming!), so this is the first chance I've had.  So, here goes...

 

1.  The very best thing about the summer is having {more} time to read books of my choice!  Didn't even have to think about that one...

2.  My first crush ever was probably Zack Morris.  Anyone who knows me knows that I need to marry a boy in a band.  I guess Zack Attack just did it for me...who could resist this?

3.  This may sound really silly but  I can't stand for my fingernails to be polished.  Clear occasionally.  A french manicure maybe once a year.  And that's a pretty big maybe.  It's distracting to me...I look down & see color & suddenly develop ADD.  And OCD.  Once it starts chipping, I have to get it off immediately.

4.  I squeeze my toothpaste from  the middle of the tube until it gets too crinkled, then I push it all to the end.

5.  My absolute favorite "comfort food" is  my mom's or my grandmother's vegetable soup.  And some grilled cheese...can't ever go wrong with that.

6.  A random fact about me is that  I can't stand soft drinks.  I distinctly remember the last time I had even a taste of Coke...about 15 years ago at Six Flags & only because I was parched & my brother had some.  Pretty sure I spewed it.  The only carbonated thing I'll drink willingly is strawberry limeade from Sonic.

7.  The one piece of technology that truly makes my life better and I couldn't live without is  my computer.  I'd go with my iPod touch simply because it's handier & I always have it, but TV online is what really swayed me.  You know how I am about my TV friends...
