1. The best thing about being in school was/is {high school} being active...flagline, tennis, etc. I miss those days. {college} living on/near campus & being within 5 minutes of so many friends.
2. The worst thing about being in school was/is feeling like you had no choice in the matter. I want to read a book because I want to read it...not because someone else makes me take a test on it.
3. My favorite subject in school was/is Art & English. I liked most subjects pretty well depending on the teacher/professor & what we were studying...just don't make me do any science unless it's Anatomy.
4. One subject I wish I could have mastered/would like to master is Spanish. I love it but didn't have good professors after the 1st semester of it. One day...
5. I could never get tired of studying um...pretty sure I could get tired of studying anything. I'd rather work 100 math problems than study for just 10 minutes for a test.
6. The most memorable teacher I had was Mrs. Mays - my art teacher from middle & high school. A beautiful woman inside & out who could always make me feel like way more talented than I am!
7. If I could choose between going to school for the rest of my life or working for the rest of my life, I'd choose work. Didn't even have to think about that one. I loved the social aspect of school, but I hated the rest. Ok, maybe not hate...all the time...but very very strong dislike. Plus, it's possible that one of these days I'll have a job that I love & am passionate about...not gonna happen with school.
