miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{one} This past week's episode of Bones is one of my new all-time favorites.  It was SO funny.  Watch it here.

{two} At church we're watching Beth Moore's "Wising Up" series.  Last night's was about money.  One of my favorite things she said: "When God is your solitary Master, money becomes your servant."  We can't abstain from money...it's unavoidable.  But when God is our Master, money has no control over us & we are able to use it to further His Kingdom.

{three} Saturday morning I was getting dressed & couldn't find the fleece pullover I wanted.  Then I started thinking of several other fall/winter clothes that I couldn't find, & realized there had to be a box somewhere that was MIA.  Found it in the attic yesterday & there were things I'd forgotten I even had!  It was like shopping, but free!  I just wish I could find my notebook I write recipes in...it's packed up somewhere but I haven't been able to find it since I moved & I'm despondent about that.
{four} I'm in need of a haircut.  You know how a haircut can just make everything feel better?  I know this girl does...I think she made me this way.  Anyway, I'm thinking about some Bones bangs.

{five} During a little blog hopping, I discovered this little treasure.  You just have to watch.  It makes my love Chris Tomlin even more than I already did...& that says a LOT.

{six} Also, I just read Erynn Mangum's blog & literally gasped.  A 3rd Maya book comes out October 29!  That makes me SO happy.  I seriously was depressed for a few days when I finished what I thought was the end of Maya & Jack.

  2. We definitely should. But should probably become real BFFs with her first. Or it could be stalking. And we do NOT want that...

  3. Watched the video and am utterly disturbed by Chris Tomlin's appearance, but it was hilarious.

Remind me NEVER to allow such a cut to grace my poor future little boy's head EVER.

  4. Haha...with 2 parents with such great hair, I hope a bowl cut would never even be thought of in his presence.
