Remember this post from about a month ago when I admitted that I was liking running?

Well...shock of my life...I still am.

When we started running, we were shooting for a 5k we have here every December.  Then somehow decided to go ahead & do the one today, even though we wouldn't be finished training.  We just planned to do the best we could.  And...that turned out a lot better than I thought it would.  I'd still like to bring my time down a lot by the next one, but I finished & I ran most of it!

Also, my running hero pointed me to the virtual race here.  The race was 10.  Yep...10 miles, 10k, 2 5ks, 10 1-miles...whatever.  By 10-10-10.  So, I just kept up with my miles as I was training & have been far over 10 now.  So, it was a fun little challenge to kick off running & was also for a good cause...Marcia is raising money for her friend with lupus.
