miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{two} I love, love, loved getting to spend a whole weekend with my little Brandi

{three} I bought white leggings this weekend.  I wasn't really sure how I felt about them, but last week I just decided I needed to have some.  And I'm a big fan.  Not really sure why, but I just am & decided that I don't really need a reason.  :)

{four} Got a great little prize from Cait via Brandi this weekend: Brooke Fraser & Alli Rogers CDs.  Love.  Still in the process of giving them a good listen...but I adore them so far.  You should become friends with them, too.

{five} Have I mentioned how much I love all things Christmas?  Especially Christmas music.  I really listen to it year-round, but I sometimes feel like people think I'm crazy for that...but I feel that it is 100% ok to admit that I'm listening to Christmas music right now.  I mean...it's after Halloween.  I know some insist on waiting until after Thanksgiving & say that we cheat Thanksgiving out of its month because we rush Christmas.  My thoughts: why can't Thanksgiving be about being thankful for Christmas & having a Savior?  Pretty sure that's totally acceptable.  That being said, what are your favorite Christmas albums?

{six} I have a feeling I'm going to be on music overload within the next few days.  But I'm pretty okay with that.  So excited that sweet Morgan is sending me some musical goodies in the mail!

{seven} Got this in the mail the other day {for free!}...the lovely Erynn Mangum's new book.  I'm so excited about reading it.  Downside: I'm about 1/3 of the way through the book I'm reading right now & just can't get into it.  It's not that it's a bad book...just that nothing really happens that keeps me turning pages.  However, I don't feel that I can quit for 2 reasons: 1. I am not a quitter.  2. My grandmother told me they're her favorite books of all time.  How do I put that down?  Oh, but my heart longs for Double Shot & all the goodness that is Maya & Jack!
