Two new favorite Christmas songs to share with you!
one. I've been avoiding Dave Barnes' Christmas album [Very Merry Christmas] for awhile & I'm not quite sure why. I'm not always a huge fan of Christmas songs that I don't already know the words to...but Cait convinced me that I'd like it & I SO do. My favorite is Mary & Joseph. Go listen & read the lyrics. My favorite part is that he points out that this was most definitely not the plan Mary & Joseph had for their lives...it was so much better. Favorite lines: the story's too long to tell, but He walked on water & He lived through Hell, killed on a cross, & rose from the grave. We got a King, they got a Son.
two. From the North Point Christmas album, Everything Changed by Eddie Kirkland. Favorite line: now all her hope & fear in a cradle lay, for a baby came & changed everything.
