fill-in-the-blank friday

one. I wish...it would snow!  Just once [okay, actually every year], I would like a white Christmas!  Wouldn't it be fun to have a white Christmas while watching White Christmas?  I think so :)

two. Yesterday I...got to take pictures of an adorable little one, spend the afternoon drinking coffee & editing at Perk Avenue, go for a run, & go home to yummy soup & two of my favorite shows (that both ended rather depressingly last night).
three. Today I will...work, run, probably go home to wrap presents & watch a Christmas movie.
four. Tomorrow I will...run a 5k in the morning (seriously...pray for me...I apparently am not made to run in cold weather & it's kind of depressing me), maybe take Christmas card pictures of some of my little cousins, & probably work for awhile.
five. Maybe...eventually my brother will come home & have a Christmas movie night & sleep on the floor by the Christmas tree.  We used to beg to do that when we were little & my mom would finally give in.  Problem was we liked to sleep under the tree.  I think I'm going to have to put up some Christmas pictures from when we were little...
six. Someday...I hope I have mischievous kids who want to sleep under the tree.  I just might let them :)
seven. I love...the Christmas season.  I love all the planning & preparing that leads up to Christmas day.  It's so easy to get caught up in it, but I like thinking that just as we get ready to celebrate, Mary planned & prepared for the arrival of Jesus.  Though I'm sure it was a much quieter celebration than any of my family's holiday gatherings, it was the best reason anyone had ever had or ever will have to celebrate.

fill in your blanks at the little things we do!

  1. gaaah you're running in a 5K too! Too bad it's not the same one as me...sigh :(

And I'll just live my Christmas season vicariously through you. I just decided. :]

  2. Good Luck on your 5k. I'm not made for running in cold weather, either. : )
