Miscellany Monday

one. Saturday I got to have a short little visit with Case.  AND she brought me some of her world-famous strawberry cake.  Maybe not world-famous, but it should be.  {And before I go any further, I should tell you that I'm recently obsessed with the Instagram app.}

two. Then Saturday night we went out with the Ramseys (McKinlie's family) for my mom's birthday & then had a night of Mexican Train Dominoes.  I'm not sure I've ever explained this...but my family plays games every night.  Not every night...but I'd say at least five out of seven.  And recently, we're on a Dominoes kick.  And the whole time we were playing Dominoes, at least 4 of us were also playing Words With Friends.  Double gaming, if you will.

three. Yesterday looked like this:

{Notice the hat made it into a lot of pictures?  My brother (who secretly wants to be a fedora-wearing kind of guy) discovered it...my grandfather's.  So we had fun with it.}

four. And then once we got home, the afternoon looked like this. 

five. Yes, I started Radical a few days ago.  LOVING it.  You will be hearing much more about this.

six. Just got this text from Brandi:"I want to tell your mom happy birthday, but I can't decide what to call her.  Lindsey's mom, Mrs. Carter, hey you???"
