Light in the Darkness

Isaiah 58 is all about fasting, which is supposed to be a sacrifice made in order to draw nearer to God.  Isaiah calls people out on what it should really be.  It's not about how you appear to others, but who you are before God. 

We often think we make "sacrifices" for God.  But this chapter made me wonder how many of those times are we actually sacrificing anything that even matters?

Do we even know what sacrifice is?
