one.  This has been my view every night this week.  And I like it :)

two. Do you underline your favorite parts in books?  I do.  Then even if I haven't read a book in years, I can flip through it & quickly find my favorite parts.  I don't know if it'll be funny when you don't know the context, but this is what this underlined part says (from The Help, by Kathryn Stockett):

 "On day three, Mother calls up the stairs to ask what in the world I'm doing up there all day and I holler down, Just typing up some notes from the Bible study.  Just writing down all the things I love about Jesus.  I hear her tell Daddy, in the kitchen after supper, 'She's up to something.'  I carry my little white baptism Bible around the house, to make it more believable."

If you don't know, the movie comes out August 10.  I can't wait...I love the book so far.  Trailer below...though I've only watched the parts up to where I am in the book ;)

three. Made "avocado salad" last night.  I became addicted to this two years ago in Mexico...I don't know anyone else who likes it like I do.  I really needed another avocado, but it was still good.  And I wore one of my favorite aprons to make it :)

four.  This is a great new combination I discovered.  A smoothie made of mango sherbet + Sunrise Tangerine Strawberry Crystal Light.

five. I made this bracelet months ago, but haven't really enjoyed it yet.  There was something I didn't quite like about it, & I finally decided it was the button I had as a clasp.  Yesterday I sewed a new one on (on my way to work...), & that has done the trick.  Wore it again today & I think it went quite nicely. :)

Seven.  This is what I've been working on all week.  Going in a 1st grade classroom :)

Weekend plans:

Finishing these painting, catching up on custom orders, & hopefully adding some new ones to the shop...though that's rather ambitious (click here if you missed the info for a coupon code).

Other than that, work white water rafting trip on Saturday + hopefully a visit from my mom & grandmother on Sunday.
