movies lines: take 2

Stepping it up a notch with my movie quotes...
there's at least one that I really don't expect anyone to get unless Brandi reads this.

{one} "The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me."

{two}  "Actually, I've always had a rather extensive vocabulary, not to mention a phenomenal grasp of grammar and a superlative command of syntax. I simply chose not to employ them"

{three} "I can't believe how small this apartment is, it's actually shocking! It's a very good thing your parents went to the movies, we'd never have squeezed in!  You realize, I can actually move from one side of this apartment to the other in 6 seconds?"

{four} "We shall marry in the morning!"

{five} "I believe in music like some people believe in fairytales."

{six} "Are you trying to seduce me?"  /  "Are you seduce-able?"

{seven} "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."

{eight} "I tell any girl I'm going out with to assume that all plans are soft until she receives confirmation from me thirty minutes beforehand."  /  "And they find this romantic?"  /  "Well, I say it with a great deal of charm."

{nine} "Aren't you gonna read it?"  /  "It's heads."

{ten} "But his voice filled my spirit with a strange, sweet sound. In that night there was music in my mind. And through music my soul began to soar! And I heard as I'd never heard before."

Guesses?

a movie challenge

You know I love movies.  And movie quotes.  Here are some of my favorites...know what movies they come from?...without googling?

{one} "She says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will..."

{two} "I wanted it to be you...I wanted it to be you so badly."

{three} "Mildred, you forgot your rabbits!"

{four} "Winters must be cold for those with no warm memories.  We've already missed the spring..."

{five} "Why any kid would wanna be an orphan is beyond me!"

{six} "I don't want sunbursts or marble halls.  I just want...you."

{seven} "These mashed potatoes are so creamy."

{eight} "I carried a watermelon."

{nine} "At home we had a pet skunk. Mama used to call it Justin Matisse. Do you think that's just a coincidence? All day long she would to scream, 'You stink Justin Matisse!' Then one day she just picked up a club and killed it."  /  "Now that's a sad story."  /  "If you liked the skunk, which we didn't."

{ten} "Shelby, that VCR alone's worth getting married for."

{eleven} "Nobody puts Baby in a corner."

{twelve} "You don't wanna be in love...you wanna be in love in a movie."

{thirteen} "Requesting permission to shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man I've ever met."

{fourteen} "Take care of you."

{fifteen} "You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on."

{sixteen} "There's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer."

{seventeen} "You look like my Barbie!"

{eighteen} "I'm a little hypochondriacal."

{nineteen} "Hey Miss Dubose."  /  "Don't you say 'hey' to me, you ugly girl!  You say 'good afternoon, Miss Dubose'!"

{twenty} "Dancing's just a conversation between two people.  Talk to me."

Anyone up for the challenge?
