"That's my jam!"

I feel it is a necessity to interrupt this regularly scheduled program of Mexico blogging to share with you some of my newest favorite "jams." That's right, jams. You may picture me walking around with a boom box on my shoulder if you like. [Side note: I had a poster of A.C. Slater & Zack Morris on my wall as a child. It was clearly inspirational & has made a lasting impact on my life.]

You see what had happened was...a few weeks ago I was on Bethany Dillon's MySpace. I often reside there because I truly feel that Beth & I could be BFF if I knew her in real life. I wonder if she knows we have that connection...? Anyway, I discovered her singing "Everlasting God" with an AFRICAN CHILDREN'S CHOIR! What could be better? Music, my BFF, & African kids. Naturally, I immediately had a visit with Mr. iTunes to find out what this was all about. And voila!...

Yes, it's a Big Stuf CD with African kids. You can't even imagine my excitement. So, naturally, I saved up $7.92 & bought it. One of the best purchases of my life.

Next up, since I follow sweet Beth on Twitter, I knew when her new CD was coming out & may or may not have even written it on my planner. And maybe even on a "to do" list to remember to buy it. Because I am a purchasing genius, I came up with this plan: I would buy the African CD, Cait would buy the Beth, & we would do a grand music sharing switcharoo. That's right, a switcharoo. Very technical term meaning the swap of possibly life-changing, but at least life-bettering jams that bring joy to your heart & your checkbook since the grand music sharing switcharoo saved me about $8.

Visit Mr. iTunes & enjoy. Or plan a switcharoo with one of your musical companions. I am always willing to be a musical companion.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program: ¡Viva Mexico!
