On My Side

I'm sure this has happened to me before, but with all we've talked about in Bible Study (& life in general) lately, I really recognized it. Yesterday I had a little freak out moment about a big paper I've been working on. I suddenly felt totally incompetent. So...I ran off to the library (because that's what normal people do?). On my way out I just felt like, for whatever reason, I needed my Beth Moore devotional that was sitting by my bed. So, I grabbed it, not thinking much of it. I fount my little corner in the library & started to read Beth before I got started working. This lead me to Psalm 119. It may not even have been the words that I read, but I could just feel God's Presence. He told me that I was completely competent & that any voice telling me otherwise was not of Him. Like 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, I had to take those thoughts captive & be totally confident because God is on MY side. MINE.
