1. The strangest thing I've ever eaten was probably something in Africa. And the fact that I can't even tell you what means it was strange & I probably didn't know what it was.
2. My best friends are um...great. There's not one word or even one sentence to describe them. They're all so different & I love that about them. They are a huge part of who I am. They encourage me, challenge me, [attempt to] understand me, & most of all, love me for me.
3. If I could live in a different era it would be the 1950s. My life would be just like Happy Days.
4. I like meaningful conversations with new people.
5. If you only know one thing about me it should be that I love Jesus. More than anything else in life, I hope this simple fact is something that I show every single day of my life.
6. My favorite book of all time is not just one but several [I'm not good at making decisions like this]. I love Karen Kingsbury, but I could never pick one book. I love her books because I fall in love with the characters & they live through long series. I LOVE To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee...it's been a favorite since middle school. [And the movie is one of the few that is just as good as the book.] Christy by Catherine Marshall is another of my all-time favorites. I love the dialect of the people of Cutter Gap. And I love Francine Rivers - Redeeming Love, of course, & And the Shofar Blew...hands down one of the best books I've ever read. And there are probably some others that I'm forgetting...
7. The one beauty product I couldn't live without is chap stick (does that count as beauty?)...ok, lip gloss or lipstick. If I was stranded on an island or something I'd probably say mousse...no hairdryers or straighteners there.
8. Blogging is the person that I want to be. Sometimes I feel like when I blog you see the best parts of me, the parts that I want to be all the time.
9. If I could star in a movie with any actor/actress I would want to work with Sandra Bullock. I just love her & she's in most of my favorite movies. Actor would be John Krasinski except I'd probably fall in love with him & he's engaged so, I'd turn down being in a movie with him for the sake of his marriage.
10. One of the best feelings in the world is 1. having a day like today with nothing that I absolutely have to do. 2. rocking a baby to sleep. 3. lying in the sun with a good book, a breeze, & a popsicle. 4. knowing that you know what God is saying/where He is leading. 5. seeing someone understand a relationship with Jesus for the first time. 6. freshly-washed sheets. 7. sleep after a long day at the beach or the lake.
