a wee bit of me

{one} do you collect anything?  if so, what & how long have you been collecting?

do books & movies count?...because I have a lot of those.   

{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by?

um...I'm not sure I have any of those...is that bad? 

{three} who would you call for bail money?

well, I'm sure I'd call my parents.  but I should probably call my brother...he's the rich one in the family because he rarely spends any money unless it's on expensive sunglasses...apparently that's his thing.  if not him, I would call Beth because I know she'd bail me out of any situation.  problem is, if I ever got arrested...she'd probably be there, too.

{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid?

my bff then was my nextdoor neighbor.  we had sleepovers from age two on.  we would always says "meet you at the fence" (which seemed really cool then for some reason) & would wait for the other at the fence between our houses.  we even made a sign & labeled the fence once.  we were pretty much inseparable, especially in the summers.  we're still friends...life's just kind of changed us.  we're very different, but she's one of those people that you just kind of pick right back up with, even when I may not have seen her in a year.  I just miss the relationship that we had then, back when everything was so simple. 

{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures.

Dawson's Creek.  I could really sit & watch a marathon all day.  And did many times my freshman year of college.  I think all my other guilty pleasures are edible: buffalo chicken dip, guacamole, cream cheese on anything. 

{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping?

about this time of year I start really thinking about it & then start shopping as I have money.  I'm really excited about gifts this year...I have some great ideas :) 

{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children?

we used to make a "Jesus birthday cake" when I was little & I loved that.  reading the Christmas story before anything else on Christmas morning.  my family doesn't do this, but my aunt & uncle do...opening 1 present on Christmas Eve & it's always a new pair of PJs.

{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement?

I think just becoming a person that I like...being at a place in life where I feel like I am growing & am joyful, even when circumstances aren't what I imagined they would be right now. 

{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself?

well, I take lots of bubble baths.  real pampering: my favorite bubble bath (warm milk & honey from bath & body works) + a good book + good coffee + a warm bed with just-out-of-the-dryer sheets to get into afterwards 

{ten} if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called?

I have absolutely no idea.  but I would want it to be from an obscure line from a book or movie - something that people would only get if they really thought like me.
