{one} what time do you normally wake up?

if it's a work-day, usually I set my alarm for 7:30 to start waking up & then get up at 8.  if it's a non-work day, usually around 8:30 or 9.

{two} do you have a go-to song for karaoke?

well, I do not plan on ever singing karaoke, but if I were going to, I would pick a great song...probably one from my "parade mix" cd.  in college, mostly freshman year, we used to always like to make Casey sing.  she has the greatest voice & she said we put her on "Casey parade."  so we eventually made a cd of songs we liked for her to sing.  it includes, but is not limited to, I Will Always Love You (Whitney version), Stand (remember this?...old Susan Ashton song), definitely a few from Wicked, & most definitely some Disney...& Backstreet Boys (these were some of her best performances becuase they came with motions).

{three} if you could only see black & white except for one color, what color would you see?

this is such a hard question.  my immediate thought was blue because the sky & ocean & little baby eyes.  but then I realized a sunset & sunrise wouldn't be the same...so maybe pink?

{four} what color best matches your personality?

purple.  I like to wear purple, & I like that it can be happy (p.s. I hate this color purple, but it was the closest to what I wanted), or serious, or sad, or a number of other emotions.  however, I've also said this before about blue & red.

{five} if you could choose one meal to cook better than anyone else, what would it be?

cheesecake.  and yes, I would make a meal of it.

{six} how many keys do you have on your keyring?

five, I think.

{sevene} do you give your pets birthday/Christmas gifts?

they usually get a little something on Christmas.  and Jeffrey, our inside kitty, gets to play with the wrapping paper & ribbon & bags...he loves a good bag & will play in one for hours.

{eight} when your plate has different foods on it, do you mix or not?

depends on what it is.  my grandmother likes to make jello a lot & I do not like for jello to get in my other food.  most anything else, I don't really care if it touches.

{nine} if you could hire someone to do one thing for you all the time, what would it be?

pay for things.  I would have a benefactor like Pip in Great Expectations.  except I woudln't be an orphan.

{ten} when flying, do you prefer the window or aisle seat?

depends on the time of the flight.  if it's during daylight (especially right at sunrise or set), I want the window seat.  otherwise, I don't really care.
