miscellany monday

[one] I'm newly addicted to How I Met Your Mother.  And thanks to Meredith, I'm watching seasons 1-3 on dvd right now.  Favorite quotes so far: 

"It's going to be legendary."  /  "Don't say that.  You're to liberal with the word 'legendary.'"

"I bet no one in history has ever licked the Liberty Bell.  If someone were to pull that off, I daresay it would be - what's the word?  LEGENDARY."

"Just know this Victoria's Secret party is on a yacht!  And what will be sticking to that yacht?  A Barnacle...Barnacle out."

"Suit up!"  [or other variations, such as "snowsuit up," "flight suit up," "penguin suit up," etc.]

[two] I finished almost all my Christmas shopping this weekend.  Only one more thing to buy!

[three] Got an early Christmas present this weekend because apparently, I'm not going to see McKinlie at all in December.  And it's one of the greatest gifts ever.  She created a Disney "vault" with quotes from Disney movies all over it & inside (once I finally figured out how to open it), was the newly-out-of-the-vault Beauty & the Beast, one of my favorite movies of all time!

[four] I'm addicted to etsy.  Have been for awhile, but I just made my first etsy purchase last week.  Love.

[five] Christmas present for my cousin.  Not quite finished with this yet, but I'm in love with it. 

[six] This is how I found Jeffrey napping the other day.  Head buried in the furry hood of my mom's coat, covered in her scarf.

 

[seven] Also, apparently everyone loves a Snuggie.

[eight] I get to see my old Bible study group tomorrow & I am beyond thrilled.  And my lovely Bible study leader, Michelle Pope Funk [because with a name like that, you utilize the whole name].
