dear bloggers who actually know how to work their cameras,
I think I messed with some setting & now all my pictures are grainy. Any idea what I would've done & what said setting needs to be on?
many thanks,

If you can get past those blues eyes & see the kitten, isn't it adorable?
SO serious.
I love those chubby legs & feet & the Hello Kitty band-aid that's probably covering nothing. :)
She's so girly. Already she cares about flowers & her hair & nail polish & the likes :)
This makes me want a sister.
Time-out...where this boy spends much of his time. And then when I let him out, he crawls right back up in my lap & kisses me. You can't help but love him.
It was driving the little ones CRAZY that they weren't allowed to hold the kittens!
Just realized that the only picture I put up of Abel, he was in time-out. I promise he didn't stay there all day! He's just so wide open all.the.time that it's hard to get him in a picture. Here's one...no one else is looking, but I happened to catch him :)

those are the sweetest pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am just a little amateur photographer but most of the time the grain comes with a ISO that is too high for the setting you are shooting in. I know there could be other reasons too...maybe you could google it? :o) That is my go to thing to do!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos!
I was going to say the ISO also! If it's too high that can make for grainy pictures..:)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely your ISO - never go above 800.
ReplyDeleteHere are the "magic" camera settings that are my go to reminders... hopefully this will help.
these are the 2 extremes and play with your settings in between the two...
1) outside on a bright, sunny day -
ISO 100
F stop - 8.0
Shutter speed - 200-250 / second
2) inside lighting -
ISO 800 (never go higher - will be grainy)
f stop - 2.8
shutter speed - 1/60 of a second (don't ever go lower - the pictures wont be in focus)
cloudy day - ISO between 200-400
Hope this helps!
lovely pictures. she has the most beautiful blue eyes :)
