miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

one. my latest song on repeat
I Want Your Presence by Bethany Dillon (on the Oaks Worship album)

two. infomercial love
The other day, I got sucked into a 30-minute infomercial on some CD collection [which, of course, you can own for five easy payments of $29.99].  Coming from someone who HATES commercials, this is a big deal.  Why did I waste spend 30 minutes of my life on this infomercial, you may ask?  Because it was good 80s music...Journey, Air Supply, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, Survivor, Bonnie Tyler, etc.  I really do not understand why I was born in 1987.  Also, I so should've been a teenager in the 80s.  I have the hair for it.

three.  grown up woes
I'm over this being a grown up thing.  And I don't even feel like I am one yet.  Paid for the dentist today for the first time.  Not a fan.

four. a McKinlie weekend
I spent a LOT of time with McKinlie this weekend.  And these are the two things you need to know.

1. this happened:
While watching Friends, she asked if something was "normal back then."
And the "back then" she was referring to? 1999.

2. we had some guitar lessons & she's coming along rather nicely :)

five. perfect day
This has been my last few hours:

At my favorite Madison coffee shop, working on Bible study for this week.  I love this.  No one bothers me, I have good coffee, good music, & spend time putting onto paper what I feel God wants me to talk about with my high school girls.  I wish this was my schedule every single day of life.

six. ten.thirty-one. sale

I have a sale going on in my shop until this Sunday.  15% off with the code SPRING15.  Lots of good things for showers (seems like there are a lot of weddings & babies these days), Easter, Mother's Day, birthdays, etc.  Or just a little prize for yourself :)

Custom orders are not on sale right now, but if you're interested in one, I can probably still get it to you by Easter or Mother's Day.  E-mail me at ten_thirtyone@yahoo.com.

Happy Monday to all!
Off to run...in 89 degree weather.  Sorry to all of you who are still in winter.  I'm already a little sunburned.
