Miscellany Monday

{one} Thursday

Week 2 of my small group.  I love this group of girls & am so thankful for them already.  I love the way God is so quickly forming bonds & making connections between the six of us.

{two} Friday

I'd driven home late after small group on Thursday, so Friday included a much-needed haircut & a visit to my mom's school.  One afternoon with 1st graders makes me a) glad I'm not a teacher & b) sympathize with my mom & c) glad other people like/are good at that.  Not I.

{three} Saturday

Saturday morning I worked at Summit. [Building update: almost ready!  They will probably have the first service there this month, or at least by next month.]

Then I got to keep this cutie for a little while.

And visit with Michelle & Jessie.  Love when mine & Jess's weekends home coincide.

And then I went with these girls to Taylor Swift + Needtobreathe.  I love Taylor, but I wasn't real sure how she'd be in concert.  I was afraid that I'd be let down.  Not at all.  It was not a concert...it was a production.  Very cool.  And Needtobreathe was great, of course.

{four} Sunday

Church, lunch at my grandparents', a walk [such a pretty day!], an accidental nap, & a lonnnng drive back, thanks to road work & traffic.
