A Glorious Day!

It has really been a "most delightful" day! I stayed up late last night reading, so I slept in this morning. When I woke up, I sat in my bed & played guitar for awhile. Finally I got up, got showered, & went to Athens & picked up Ben. We did a little shopping for Daddy's birthday (& my lovely new swimsuit & perfect pink purse). Next we ate at Choo Choo...that makes even the best day better.

When I came home I was so productive...cleaned out my room & car, even vacuumed my car. Cleaned Ben's room, cleaned the bathroom. Yeah...I'd call that productive.

Then tonight we went to the lake with some friends. We didn't even get there until after 8, so it was dark by the time we got on the boat. I love just riding out under the stars. It was even a little chilly. :) On the way home I was permitted to roll down the windows & turn the heat on (Ben has very strict rules for his Jeep). He even let me hold his iPod long enough to pick one song...a rare treat!

Tonight I had another little guitar date. I'm learning some songs in Spanish, which I'm not so great at, but I've found that I really enjoy it. Now off to take a bubble bath & read some more!
