more miscellany

I know Miscellany Monday was yesterday...but I'm gonna make it a miscellany Tuesday, too, ok?

{one} I'm thankful for a friend who will now act as my PFC (personal fashion consultant) over the phone...& doesn't make fun of me when I send her awkward pictures like this (though I did get in trouble for not smiling in some, hence the cheesy smiles in these).

{two} Also thankful for a cat who sometimes thinks he's a baby & curls up with me while I read.

{three} Yesterday I got a text from my brother with this picture saying "what do I do?"  He'll be 20 next week...

{four} I'm about halfway through Take Four by Karen Kingsbury & sometimes I just want to grab the characters by the shoulders & shake them & say "I've known you for 15+ books & know what you're thinking & you're so wrong!"  I get a little too attached...
