I just got my first blogger award from my real-life friend Chloe at Tryin' to Throw My Arms Around the World (who, by the way...is doing her 1st giveaway...check it out)!
The rules are that I have to tell 7 interesting things about myself, so here goes...
- I like to put a hot frying pan under cold water to hear/see it sizzle, annnnnd...I scream "welcome to Japan!!!" because it makes me feel like I'm at a Japanese restaurant.
- I love strawberry limeade & think Sonic's Strawberry Limeade Chiller is about the best thing I've ever tasted.
- At home I drink mostly water. On the occasion that I have a little extra money, I buy juice. But I don't like soft drinks or sweet tea (which is basically a sin in the South).
- I get kind of obsessed with my book & TV friends. As in...I recently confused a book I read with real life...kept thinking I knew someone who worked with Campus Crusade...turns out it was Bailey Flanigan from Karen Kingsbury's books.
- Speaking of which, I rarely watch any TV show, movie, or read any book without crying.
- My favorite thing to wear is leggings & a sweatshirt, especially my new Alpha Gam sweatshirt.
- When I was little I wanted to be an Olympic gymnast, figure skater & swimmer. And a lifeguard. And a wedding planner.
Caitlin: I love that she cares about the beauty of her blog almost as much as I do. But more than that, I love seeing her heart through every word that she writes.
Em: Every time I read Em's blog I have to grab my Bible to underline a few verses & probably journal about it, too. She challenges me & makes me think & grow.
And...probably some others but I'm not quite brave enough to give them to people who don't know that I know them...yet.
Now...off to live in the real world & study for exams, write my LAST college paper, & submit applications for big girl jobs. Some weeks I'd rather hang out in the bloggy world until the not-so-fun stuff passes by me.
Also, I haven't forgotten about my beach trip. No, not at all...I've been working on a post about it but it's just taking more time than I have to commit right now. So, get excited...it's coming!

In response to number 4... One time I prayed for someone in the book I was reading thinking it was in real life. Granted, I had just taken Melatonin, aka Miracle Drug, and was slightly delusional.
