This past weekend, it rained. And rained, & rained some more. And when I woke up Sunday morning, it was raining. And that really just made me mad. The day of our church groundbreaking that we'd been waiting on forever was finally here...& so was the rain. The service was supposed to start at our property at 10:15. We left around 9:30 because my mom had to be there early.
And at 9:30, there was no rain. Cold. Wind. But no rain.
I wore my beloved zebra rainboots. We set up camping chairs in the mud, bundled up, & had a perfect groundbreaking service.
Vision 2 Hear performed "Open Skies." Perfect :)
praise Him under open skies
everything breathing, praising God
in the company of all who love the King
The families who started Summit five years ago officially broke ground.
the whole church family :)

Love this picture of these two sweet girls.
Back at the end of the summer, we had a church picnic on our land & I took this picture of the tree that they used for the front of the bulletin on Sunday :)
on Christ the Solid Rock I stand
all other ground is sinking sand
all other ground is sinking sand

I love that scripture! Writing it down now.
