miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

one.
I finally got to meet this little one Saturday night.  She is so tiny!  I love that my family has a million babies.  And will have one more in November.  I don't ever get tired of holding the little tiny ones.  [Non-phone pics coming as soon as I edit them.]

two.
I've loved being able to gradually decorate my little apartment.  I have several things I'm working on, but this is the only one that's finished.  I already had the fabric & thread, drew what I wanted on the back, & made up how to do it as I went along.  I'm sure it's not "right," but...I like it.  And I got the frame for $4 & just polished it up a bit.  Pretty cheap little decoration :)

 three.
I've been wanting some canisters for my kitchen & found these for less than $2 each!

four.
This church shopping business is intimidating.  I've never been in a situation where I didn't have friends to go with me, & that's scary.

five.
Yesterday was this girl's birthday.  Can't even tell you how crazy I am about her.  She is one of the most genuine people that I know & also, if you ever need a crier, she's your girl.  No one can top her in that arena.  ;)  The beginning of our relationship was kind of awkward, if we're being honest.  We had never met until she became my little sorority sister.  And so I think I interrogated her for awhile, just trying to get to know each other.  But it didn't take long before I knew that I wouldn't ever want to live without her!

six.
Working on a couple things for the shop, but it's taken me awhile to get back into the swing of things.  Any ideas?  Anything you'd like to see?

  1. I love the art -- the frame is perfect. You are quite the shopper. Great deals.

And good luck with your church shopping. That is challenging, but I pray that the decision becomes crystal clear.

  2. I found your blog from Miscellany Monday and LOVE your outlook on life. I have those canisters in my apartment and have found them to be very useful.

Finding a church home is definetly scary&hard, but like finding your first home(or apartment), you will just KNOW! God knows what kind of community you need and He will help you find it.

    Blessings for a great week!
