fill-in-the-blank Friday

one. The TV show/website that I watch/read that I would be embarrassed to tell anyone about is...well, I'm not embarrassed, I'll tell you.  Sometimes when I'm flipping through channels & I see that Arthur is on, I watch it.  And when Case & I lived together, it was not uncommon for us to sit down, eat PB & J for lunch while watching the Flintstones & Jetsons, followed by a short nap.  And yesterday while babysitting, I discovered a new (to me) show that I think I'll have to look into: Good Luck Charlie.  It was funny!

two. An item of clothing that is worn & torn but that I love far too much to throw away is...the tie-dye shirts we made with the kids in San Antonio.  I only sleep in them...but they're really faded & really thin.

*We didn't always look this bad...we'd just been pushed into a pool.

This is more like it:

three. My grocery store impulse buy is...gum or candy when I'm in line at the checkout.  Usually pretzel M&Ms...I just can't resist these.  And I'm not even a chocolate person.  It's the pretzel that gets me.

four. Something I do at work to pass time that I wouldn't want my co-workers to know about is...again, no secret.  When I was working at Mulberry, I spent a lot of downtime on People or Stumble Upon...or reading your blogs!

five. One thing in my life that I could give up, but never will is...tv.  Though I wouldn't say never.  If you know me at all, you know I love my shows.  I mean...I've written entire posts about my tv friends.  But I cut back this year.  Now all I'm committed to are How I Met Your Mother, Parenthood, Bones, & The Office.  And Army Wives once it comes back on in March...but by then some of these others will have gone off for this season.

On that note, can we please talk about Bones from last night?  None of my real life friends have watched it yet.  Thoughts?

six. A little indulgence that I have is...hmm...I'll have to think about this one...not sure.

seven. The junk drawer/area in my house is...right now, a corner of the dining room.  But it's not my fault...I need a craft room!  One day...but for now, the corner contains 3 rubbermaid boxes, 2 of scrabook paper, a paper cutter, several hot glue guns, some fabric, 2 boxes of paint, etc.

Fill in your blanks here!

In other news...

Giveaway at My Leigh Ashley!  If you haven't visited her etsy shop, barberry & lace, you need to...it's one of my favorites & I've ordered several things from there that I just love.

And now I need to get this day rolling...getting ready to go to Case & Ryan's for the weekend to help with D-Now at their church!

#111. days like yesterday: reading, knitting, tv, painting...& nothing else.
#112. kids who introduce me to their tv shows.  :)
#113. creativity.
#114. friends who get excited with me about life plans.
